Born in 1960, Rohini Nilekani is the founder of Arghyam Foundation and one of India’s biggest philanthropists. Arghyam is an NGO which was founded in 2001 and it focuses on water and sanitation issues. Rohini Nilekani is also the chairperson of Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies.
